Profile

Carol Gay, MA, LCMHC, MLADC teaches in the human relations concentration for the Communications Arts degree.  She has taught since 2007 with the following courses:  Language & Social Interaction and Communicating in Families.  She has created two courses for the department:  Relational Violence (which became part of the curriculum) and Communication, Culture, "Drugs" and Addiction (a special topics course).  In 2017 Ms. Gay received the UÂé¶¹´«Ã½ Teaching Excellence Award.

Outside of UÂé¶¹´«Ã½ Manchester, Carol is a dual licensed psychotherapist: mental health and an addictions therapist.  She works in juvenile justice and specializes in trauma, adolescent development and addictions treatment.
